INNOVO® breaks an Official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title!
On the 22nd June 2017, INNOVO® hosted an Official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® attempt in Haggerston Park, London.
In support of World Continence Week and Women in Sport Week (19-25 June), INNOVO® partnered with the World Federation of Incontinence Patients (WFIP) and four-time Olympic medallist and Mum, Becky Adlington to break the official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the Most people on trampolines.
The title, which was previously held by Loughborough University with 324 participants, was claimed by INNOVO®, bringing the new world record to 343 participants. All 343 participants were required to simultaneously bounce non-stop for a period of 5 minutes, without falling off or stopping, and the attempt went off without a hitch.
While the beautiful weather & excitement of being part of an Official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS attempt was enough to keep the smiles on everyone’s faces, INNOVO® was just grateful for the support of everyone involved in raising awareness for World Continence Week and breaking the silence around incontinence issues here in the UK. Encouraging women to partake more in physical activity to maintain optimal health and to #LivefortheWOW moments in life, was also a key focus for the day.
Rebecca Adlington said: “I am so passionate about helping and encouraging women to get moving and enjoy themselves by being as active as possible. Nearly 20% of Londoners say they neglect their inner core health, which needs to change. As a mum, I know all about the strain pregnancy and labour can put on your pelvic floor muscles and the importance of maintaining or restoring these muscles to support your core strength fully, in order to keep active. INNOVO® is an easy, safe and non-invasive system to restore these muscles effectively in the comfort of your own home, so that you can be confident to get out there and create your own wow moments everyday, whether it’s bouncing on a trampoline or just dancing around the kitchen at home!”
